What’s new on PlayStation Store this week? What blockbuster movies and hidden gems will join the thousands of games already available on PS5 and PS4?

Well, it looks pretty good, at least compared to the last few weeks which have been nothing but absolute crap in terms of new releases.

Skull & Bones may be delayed again, but pirate fans looking to sail the seven seas of skullism and mischief can set sail this week in Tortuga: A Pirate’s Tail. From German strategist Kalypso, Tortuga: A Pirate’s Tale is a new tactical strategy game that puts players in the sea-worn boats of a pirate captain. Players will be tasked with making a name for themselves in the Caribbean by commanding a fleet of pirate ships and hunting down that sweet, sweet treasure.

If the high seas aren’t for you, there’s always the vast open lands of Monster Hunter Rise, which launches this Friday on PS5 and PS4. Launched last year on Nintendo Switch and PC, Monster Hunter Rise is finally rolling out to other home consoles, expanding the player base and securing the series’ future.

It’s a big week for Persona fans as Atlus releases Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden on PS5 and PS4. First, Persona 3 Portable is of particular interest to fans, as it was originally exclusive to a PSP and has not been available on any modern platform until now.

Below are what’s coming to PS5 and PS4 this week, but there’s a chance a few more new releases will hit the PlayStation Store. If anything else is released this week, we’ll come back and update this post.
